Dorzox T Eye Drop (Dorzolamide Timolol)is used as an adjuvant therapy (to beta-blockers) or as monotherapy (in patients non responsive to beta-blockers or in whom beta-blockers are contraindicated) to treat elevated intraocular pressure (increased fluid pressure inside the eye) in patients with ocular hypertension, open-angle glaucoma, or pseudo-exfoliative glaucoma (clogging due to flaky dandruff-like material that peels off the outer layer of the lens of the eye, raises pressure in the eye).
Dorzox T eye drop is used to treat high blood pressure, stabilize irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias), prevent angina (heart pain) and improve survival chances post heart attack. It is also used to treat Glaucoma, a condition wherein there is an increased pressure in the eye and this may lead to blindness. It is also used to treat headaches due to migraine.

Dorzolamide Timolol belongs to a class of medications called carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. It works by inhibiting the enzyme carbonic anhydrase thereby causing a reduction in the fluid pressure in the eye.
