How it works
Dutasteride is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitors. It specifically inhibits the action of the enzyme 5?-reductase, that convert the male hormone testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), it is the androgen that is primarily responsible for the development and growth of the prostate gland.
